INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO FIND THE SLC FEDERAL BUILDING AND WHERE TO FIND FREE PARKING FOR YOUR HEARING
Your Hearing with an Administrative Law Judge is at 125 South State Street, SLC, UT, in the Wallace F. Bennett Federal Building. You need to arrive 45 minutes prior to your scheduled hearing time in order to find a place to park and go through security after you enter the building. There is Free Parking in a small parking lot next to the Federal Building. There is 2 hours of Free Parking in the Harmon's Parking lot across the street and in the City Creek Mall, which is kitty corner to the Federal Building. There is a pay lot, which only takes credit cards, behind the small Federal Building Parking Lot. Bring cash, a credit card, or plan extra time to find a free parking space. In order to get through security, you will need to bring a valid ID card with your photograph on it, like a driver's license or passport. You will sign in, show your ID, and go through a metal detector. Do not bring weapons of any kind. You should also try not to bring a lot of things in your pockets or in a bag, because this will delay your entrance into the building as it will take longer to go through security. Once you go through security, take the elevators to the 3rd floor and meet your attorney in the waiting room of the SSA's Office of Hearing Operations (OHO).
